Feb 25 - Mar 1

Monday:  Another snow day.  Wow!  That storm turned out to be disappointing didn't it.  I am guessing the administrators will not call off school quite so quickly next time.

As far as the rest of the week goes. . . we will be flexible.
This is simply a rough outline of what the week will entail.

7th grade:  We will be having a test over area sometime soon.  It would be nice to have it this friday but we will see how that goes.

8th grade:  We will continue with statistics.  We are done with Mean, Median, Mode and Range and will continue with different ways to organize data.  This will include line plots, scatter grams and figuring a line of best fit.

Algebra:  We will pick up where we left off with Chapter 10.  Read lessons 10/1 and 10/2 to refresh what we have already learned.

Dec 11 - 15 (crazy mixed up week)

This week is a crazy one.  I am not even sure what classes I see each day due to Band and Chorus events along with FFA.  I am going to give a brief overview of what each grade can expect because otherwise it would need to be an hour by hour update.

Grade 7:

I only see 2nd hour 2 days this week. 4th hour 3 days and 8th hour will not miss class.

We will begin studying proportions this week.  My 8th hour class will get some practice on topics we have covered this semester by practicing on IXL.  We will be testing December 20th over Ratios, Rates and Proportions.

Grade 8:

This week will be focused on solving systems of equations.  We will be solving them by graphing and substitution.  We will also spend some time reviewing topics we have studied this semester.

Algebra:

Mon:  Only 8 students will be in class.  We will review for the semester test.
